Report: Majority of Texas nonprofits are struggling with budgets, services during pandemic

Texas has more than 100,000 nonprofits that either directly or indirectly employ 1.4 million Texans. In the past decade, the sector has more than doubled, but, since early March, almost a quarter of those nonprofits have furloughed or laid off employees.
