Advisors Mortgage Group, LLC, the Jersey Shore’s number one lender, announced that it is opening an office in Point Pleasant to serve and continue to grow the company’s presence in Ocean County, NJ.
Advisors Mortgage’s office, located at 405 Richmond Ave, is the center of the Point Pleasant community and will serve as the base of operations for a new team of loan officers led by Bob Obsuth, an industry veteran of 25 years. Bob spent the first half of his professional career serving the community as a police officer in Ocean County for 24 years. After retiring in 2004, he shifted his focus to being another type of officer to help the community, a loan officer. After working for big banks, Bob decided to join the Advisors Mortgage Family in May of this year.
He credited the local, community feel and personal touch as to why Advisors was the best place to take his career, “I felt like the philosophy, integrity and business sense were the same things my team brought to our borrowers.”
Bob’s team is composed of Sam Hernandez, another local police officer and Tara Cooper, who they deem the “dispatcher” of their squad. Sam has been a police officer for more than a decade, and tied to home financing for even longer. Tara has been the glue that holds their team together since 2012, helping customers get their loans off the ground and on the best path for their individual needs. The team can be found online here.
The new office will be hosting a Grand Opening party on Friday, October 2nd in the parking lot of the new office on Richmond Ave, with socially-distant ribbon cutting, toast-raising beverages and food to welcome the new team to Advisors and the community. The mayors of both Point Pleasant Beach and Point Pleasant Borough will be in attendance, along with local first responders and police officers to help welcome the team to the community.
