Canadian entrepreneur Emily Lyons is welcoming everyone to join her and many other guests on Sunday, May 30th at 9:00 AM for a day-long fundraiser on Clubhouse. Many special guests including Arlene Dickinson and Keith Grossman, President of TIME, will be coming together with the aim to raise awareness and funds to help find a cure for this deadly disease, and help CF families in need. May is Cystic Fibrosis Month. Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is the most common of all fatal genetic diseases and at present, there is no cure. Entrepreneur Emily Lyons was born the middle child between two CF siblings, her sister Julia passed away from CF in 2011, whilst her younger brother Christian still fights the disease. With the 10 year anniversary of Julia’s passing approaching, Emily has set the target of raising $100,000 in her memory before the end of May. Anyone may feel free to donate via the Gofundme page if Clubhouse is not available for them.
All donations will be split between Cystic Fibrosis Canada, CF Get Loud and The CF Treatment Society.
