Keysure Secures Keyholding Contract With DVLA

Keysure, a comprehensive security and keyholding company based in the UK, has secured a keyholding and alarm response contract with Reed Partnership and the DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency).

October 20, 2021

Keysure, a security company that offers services including keyholding, alarm response, mobile patrols, property inspections, and secured third-party access, has begun a contract with Reed Partnership and the DVLA (Driver And Vehicle Licensing Agency) that will see them providing keyholding and alarm response services in over 200 locations across the UK.

This new partnership sees Keysure becoming one of the primary contractors responsible for security in the various DVLA offices and properties across the country. The DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency) is the state organisation that is responsible for maintaining a database of all drivers and vehicles in Great Britain, as well as all vehicles in Northern Ireland. As such, Keysure will be playing a major role in helping them keep that data safe in offices in various locations.

Part of this agreement is the keyholding services that will be provided across all DVLA locations. Keysure maintains a set of keys to their clients’ property, storing them in a BS7984 compliant key safe with no indication of the client’s property name or address. They are then able to access these keys are the on-call key-holder in the event of any alarm activations or emergency situations, 24-hours a day. As keyholders, they not only secure the premises but will investigate and re-ensure any property, providing a report when done.

They will also be providing alarm response services. In the event of alarm activation, response officers from Keysure will attend the property, performing a security audit of the entire location, and marking down a report of any causes they find for the alarm. Keysure’s team arrives on-site quickly, carries out all the recommended security procedures, and reports back to their clients any details that are pertinent.

Since being established in 2011, Keysure has become a leading provider of mobile security and support services throughout the UK. They offer all of their clients the benefits of 50 years of combined management experience and are part of the SIA approved contractor scheme. Through their fast response time, rapid mobilization, innovative security tactics, and thorough client support, they have worked in over 2000 client premises across the country.
