HERNDON, Va. - Feb. 14, 2022 - PRLog -- Floris UMC/Restoration has supported our neighbors and communities across the globe through our partner organizations and their efforts to help families most in need. Through our congregation's generous commitment to Christmas Eve Giving, we are excited to give away over $300,000 to our community partners.

"Members of Floris UMC/Restoration give generously because they are excited to help people and transform lives in our community and world, especially now, through partners who do good well." –Rev. Tom Berlin, Lead Pastor

This year's recipients include:

We are joining Cornerstones to prevent evictions by directing families who need rental assistance to their CARES Act Relief Programs. We are partnering with HCW to support their work at the Child Reintegration Center and the Mercy Hospital. We are working with LAWS to help vulnerable families find housing and other services to stay safe during tumultuous times.
