Great Grilling Takes A “Cue” From Military Veterans

First ever of its kind... Barbecue Grill Box Features Products Created By and From Veteran Owned Businesses... a new way to support those who have served.

It’s never been done before. . .a curated collection of spices, sauces and seasonings made to enjoy around a grill or kitchen—all created by U.S. armed forces veteran small business entrepreneurs.

Military Made—the unique company which features veteran made products from veteran and military spouse owned businesses—is introducing “THE GRILL BOX”—a combination of six BBQ sauces, seasonings and related grilling items.

“It’s really a first,” observed Bill Deutch, founder and CEO of Military Made and a nationally recognized and honored expert in veteran affairs. “This is indeed a one-of-a-kind collection of the best-of-the-best in BBQ from the minds, hearts and kitchens—of our dedicated former military personnel. It’s also a great way to salute, recognize and support those who have served.”

Elements of The Grill Box—and the military veterans who created them include:

  • “Battle Tested BBQ”—a signature hickory sauce “smoked sweet with kitchen heat”—was created by Mike Otis of Raleigh, NC who served 22 years in the U.S. Air Force and in the Middle East during Operation Desert Storm
  • “Rumi Spice”—an Afghan Curry Braise—flavorful and ethnically sourced spices from Afghanistan—was founded by a team of U.S. Army Veterans from Chicago, Ill. including Emily Miller, Kim Jung and Keith Alaniz who served in that country
  • “Grill Your Ass Off”—a MA DEUCE Steak Seasoning—founded by Jason Murff of Houston, TX,  four years in the Army Infantry.

The Grill Box can be purchased online at www.militarymade.com for $79.99.

‘It’s really a great value,” related Deutch.  “If purchased individually, the items would cost well over $90  ...so, in this time of high inflation, it makes for an even better buy—or gift.”

An added incentive: A percentage of each Box purchased will be donated to “Hiring America Services”—a non-profit organization that supports training and education for U.S. veterans and their spouses.
