Lufthansa, Aer Lingus post deteriorating 2008 results

Two long-haul European airlines, Deutsche Lufthansa AG and Aer Lingus Group, on Wednesday report deteriorating results in 2008 and predict a worse performance for 2009 as the economic downturn slams demand for passenger and cargo air travel.
