Western States, a global leader and manufacturer of centrifugals, welcomes Larry Haubner as the company’s new Director of Sales and Marketing. Haubner’s responsibilities will include expanding and overseeing the U.S. and international sales markets in conjunction with core business objectives.
Haubner, a veteran in mechanical equipment sales, thrives on providing solutions that help customers grow, increase productivity and revenue. Studying Mechanical Engineering Technology at the University of Cincinnati, his past experience includes working as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Siemens Industrial Drives. His sales career blossomed as a manufacturer’s representative of corrosion resistant chemical process and heat transfer equipment to the chemical, pharmaceutical, steel and petrochemical industries. Later he served as a project and technical sales manager at AstroCosmos Metallurgical in Camarillo, CA.
Prior to Western States, Haubner came from TITAN Metal Fabricators where he spent the last seven years as Business Development Manager. While at TITAN, Haubner directed a 100 plus member sales team across 30 different agencies. His responsibilities included developing sales plans, technical sales and training materials as well as creating a system to improve and track sales conversions.
