PRESS DIGEST - British business - Sept 14

Scotgold Resources revealed on Monday that losses in the past year had almost doubled to $1.1 million. Revenues for the 12 months to the end of June dropped from $94.4 million to $46.6 million. The goldminer, situated in Scotland's Grampian region, said that planning applications made for a proposed mine in the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Parks Board areas had been rejected but that it would seek support from the Scottish Government to overturn the decision.
