SOURCE: Mary KayDESCRIPTION:
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and BCancer Awareness Month. The Mary Kay Foundation is a leader in helping end violence against women and finding a cure for cancers affecting women. What better way to support both of these causes than through The Mary Kay Foundation’s MK5K?
Mary Kay independent beauty consultants, employees, family and friends, all came out for the event held in Addison, TX. Whether walking or running, all participants had one thing in common – they wanted to enrich women’s lives by helping a great cause. With support from more than 1,100 runners, sponsors, and volunteers we’re proud to say more than $100,000 was raised for two worthy causes.
