Dollar General (NYSE: DG) is offering a 10 percent discount on bulk toy purchases of $250 or more during the holiday season. This discount is available now and will continue through December 24, 2010 at Dollar General’s more than 9,100 stores.
This discount was developed to assist organizations with their holiday toy drives. A longtime supporter of local toy drives, Dollar General will again host in-store toy drives to benefit children in the communities the company serves.
“Dollar General is proud to help charitable organizations during the holidays once again,” said Todd Vasos, Dollar General’s chief merchandising officer. “We hope this discount will help organizations stretch their dollars farther to help more children have a happy holiday.”
Dollar General’s toy department is overflowing with a variety of inexpensive and exciting toys for children of all ages. More than 350 toys are priced at $5 or less, including art, games, activity sets, plush animals, licensed toys and much more.
