CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens higher on U.S. earnings, commodities

TORONTO, July 14 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index opened higher on Thursday, encouraged by a higher profit reported by JPMorgan in the United States and by stronger commodity prices.
