Chase Cardholders Attend Playback Session of the “Pet Sounds” Album with Brian Wilson at Capitol Studios Hollywood

On October 6, Chase cardholders attended a very rare and exclusive playback session with Brian Wilson, co-founder of The Beach Boys, at Capitol Studios in the iconic Capitol Records Tower. After a wine and hors d'oeuvres reception, cardholders joined Brian for a playback session of “Pet Sounds” in Capitol Studio A. Capitol Records was the home of The Beach Boys when the album was originally released in 1966.

“It was amazing to reminisce with fans about one of my favorite albums with The Beach Boys,” said Brian Wilson. “To do so in Studio A made it all the more special, as we recorded so many songs within these studios. I’m really happy to have worked with Chase to put this special evening together for their customers.”

Following the playback session, Brian performed his song “God Only Knows,” and talked about his fascinating career and the motivation behind his work and artistry during an interview session. Guests also had an opportunity to take photos with this international music legend.

Brian earned nine consecutive gold albums that featured such classics as “Surfer Girl,” “In My Room,” “I Get Around,” “Don't Worry Baby,” “Help Me Rhonda,” “California Girls” and the aforementioned "God Only Knows.” Throughout his career, Brian has received numerous honors, including Grammy awards, being inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a co-founder of The Beach Boys, and the Kennedy Center Honors.
