Clinical Trial Update on Redsenol-1 Plus for Cancer-Related Fatigue Research

RICHMOND, BC, September 10, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Canada Royal Enoch Phytomedicine Ltd., an innovative leader in ginseng and ginsenosides research and application, today announced an important development in the clinical trial of Redsenol-1 Plus Noble Ginsenoside Capsules (Redsenol-1 Plus), an investigational natural health product being studied for cancer-related fatigue (CRF). Health Canada has completed its review of the Clinical Trial Amendment and supporting materials and has indicated that it has no objection to the proposed study.

The updated clinical trial protocol will allow the study to continue under a revised research framework. Cancer-related fatigue is a common challenge faced by many cancer patients, particularly during and after anticancer treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and can continue to affect daily functioning and quality of life. The study aims to further explore the potential of Redsenol-1 Plus in cancer supportive care through rigorous clinical research.

Since the clinical trial was initiated in 2022, the study has been actively conducted, with some participants having completed the study, providing valuable clinical study data and operational experience. As the study has advanced, the research team has continued to refine the study design and participant access based on practical experience gained during the clinical trial.

Health Canada's review and no-objection notification regarding the Clinical Trial Amendment provide an updated framework for the continued advancement of the clinical trial and may provide more eligible cancer patients experiencing cancer-related fatigue with an opportunity to participate in the study.

Redsenol-1 Plus is an oral botanical formulation containing sixteen rare ginsenosides derived from ginseng, including Rg3 (R, S), Rh1 (S, R), Rh2 (R, S), Rk1, Rk3, Rg5, Rh3, Rh4, Rk2, aPPD (S, R), and aPPT (S, R). Redsenol-1 Plus is listed in the NCI Drug Dictionary of the U.S. National Cancer Institute (NCI). Ginsenosides have attracted scientific interest because of their diverse biological activities.

"Cancer-related fatigue is a long-term challenge faced by many patients, yet it is often overlooked," said Dr. Peihua Yu, Chief Executive Officer of Canada Royal Enoch Phytomedicine. "Since the study began, we have continued to advance the clinical trial and learn from practical experience gained throughout the research process. Health Canada's review of the Clinical Trial Amendment represents an important step in the continued development of this study. We look forward to generating additional scientific data through rigorous clinical research."

The clinical study of Redsenol-1 Plus is registered on ClinicalTrials.gov under identifier NCT05664009. Additional information is available through ClinicalTrials.gov.
