Figleaf has been launched today on Kickstarter, at <https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/figleaf/figleafcarry-your-favorite-minifigures-with-imagination?ref=3mdhv5>, as the world’s first build and carry system for minifigures. Aiming at securing the attention of both parents wanting to gift it to their children and of adult minifigure collectors, the campaign is introducing a product that allows users to go beyond the typical build-and-display-at-home proposition.
According to the campaign, there are 4 billion minifigures in the world, and in 2024 alone another 340 million minifigures will be made. There are also more than 16,400 characters literally representing all races, cultures, genders, careers, ages of humankind, as well as those characters we developed in books, games, videos, movies. People collect them, play with them, and love their favorite minifigures. However, up until now, there was no way for these fans to show off their minifigures, which is why we created Figleaf.
Figleaf allows minifigure fans to build their custom favorite figures and to wear them on any occasion. Four clip versions are available so that users can choose the one that better adjusts to any desired outfit and occasion—from a clip that can be attached to a jacket’s lapel, to a clip that is designed to adjust to a baseball cap’s opening. Another important characteristic of Figleaf is that it can be attached to any thin fabric and it will not damage or wrinkle it in any way.
Figleaf Minifigure Carrying System is compatible with figures from all the popular brands, such as LEGO, MAGA BLOCK, ZURU MAX, KRE-O, Character Building, and Tenkai Knights. It can also be combined with IP or fashion trends, as well as with Blind Bag and Blind Box gameplay. Black, white, gray and transparent versions are also available to cater to different tastes and preferences.
They are also leveraging our extensive experience in the toy industry to create patented minifigure building and carrying systems that meet toy safety regulations while being flexible enough to fit most garments and outfits, and to make the system accessible to every minifigure fan.
The campaign also highlights that Figleaf has been created for the child within every adult of any age who would take pride in showcasing their minifigures on-the-go. This is an expression of one’s personality and a reunion with one’s childish side that no one ever wants to lose. Figleaf allows users to carry and express all of this, building a bridge with those around them.
