Seedance 2.0 Pro is built on a Dual-Branch Diffusion Transformer architecture that generates audio and video simultaneously in a single pass — eliminating the need for post-production audio layering. The model accepts multimodal inputs including text, images, video clips, and audio tracks, with support for up to 12 combined reference assets per generation. Output is delivered at up to 2K resolution and 60 frames per second across six aspect ratios: 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 3:4, 21:9, and 1:1.

In benchmark evaluations conducted on SeedVideoBench 2.0 — developed with input from professional film directors — Seedance 2.0 Pro ranked above competing models in subject consistency, multi-character scene coherence, and camera movement accuracy. On Artificial Analysis, an independent platform using public voting, the Seedance model family ranks first in both text-to-video and image-to-video categories, ahead of Google Veo 3, OpenAI Sora, and Runway Gen4.
