CALI, COLOMBIA - Two demonstrations evaluated the deployable ballistic shield's stability, hand positioning and performance during simulated emergency conditions

Gang Wayz Bags announced the completion of two controlled live-fire demonstrations designed to address questions from social media about how its deployable ballistic shield functions during an emergency.

The demonstrations were conducted with founder and CEO Raphael Ranger positioned behind the shield. According to the company, the evaluations were intended to examine the product's ballistic performance, deployment, stability and handling under controlled conditions.

The first demonstration focused on confirming the system's performance during live ballistic impacts. Gang Wayz Bags said the results provided the company with the information needed to proceed with a second, more demanding evaluation based on questions submitted by viewers.

The second demonstration used a simulated emergency scenario rather than firing only at a stationary ballistic panel. The company said the purpose was to observe how the armored crossbody bag would perform when deployed and held as intended during a high-pressure situation.

One of the main questions involved whether multiple bullet impacts would cause the shield to swing backward or become difficult to control. According to Gang Wayz Bags, the shield showed minimal movement during the demonstration because the ballistic panel is designed to distribute impact forces throughout its structure rather than concentrate the energy in one area.

Viewers also raised concerns about the positioning and protection of the user's hands while holding the shield. During the second demonstration, one projectile struck near Ranger's hand position.

The company said its patented handle arrangement is designed so that only the user's knuckles come into contact with the ballistic panel. The demonstration was completed without injury.

"We wanted to evaluate the product in situations people were actually asking about," Ranger said. "The demonstrations were created to answer those questions with real results instead of assumptions."

The Gang Wayz Bags crossbody product is designed to unfold into a ballistic shield approximately three times larger than the bag itself. According to the company, the shield can be deployed in about 0.5 seconds, combining everyday portability with rapidly accessible ballistic protection.

Gang Wayz Bags said the product represents more than two years of research, engineering and development focused on creating a practical protective option for emergency situations.

The company emphasized that ballistic protection cannot eliminate the risks associated with firearms or guarantee protection from injury. Both demonstrations were carefully coordinated, conducted under controlled conditions and involved inherent danger. The company does not recommend attempting to reproduce the demonstrations.

Since the videos were released, they have generated discussion across social media about the product's deployment, stability and handling. Gang Wayz Bags said the purpose of the demonstrations was to show how the product is designed to function during live ballistic impacts and to respond directly to questions raised by viewers.
