Orchard Investment Partners Welcomes Michael Farah as Co-Founder and Partner

Farah Brings Extensive Private Equity Investing Experience and Deep Professional Network

Orchard Investment Partners (“Orchard”), an independently owned secondary investment firm focused on private equity-backed continuation vehicles and related transactions, today announced that Michael Farah has joined the firm as a Co-Founder and Partner. Farah, who most recently was a Partner at Linden Capital Partners, will work alongside Orchard Co-Founders Scott Pasquini and Mark Tresnowski to advance the firm’s differentiated model of investing in high-quality, sponsor-backed businesses where Orchard and its advisors have direct investing experience, sector insights and relevant networks to engage.

Farah’s private equity investing career spans more than 20 years and has primarily focused on the healthcare industry, where he evaluated and executed investments in life sciences, pharmaceutical services, medical devices, and healthcare services, and served on the board of directors of 12 portfolio companies. Prior to joining Orchard, Farah spent nearly 12 years at Linden, with the last nine of those as a Partner. Earlier, he was an investment professional at both Metalmark Capital and Summit Partners. Farah began his career in the healthcare investment banking group at UBS, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Finance from Carnegie Mellon University.

Orchard Co-Founder and Managing Partner Scott Pasquini commented, “Michael brings extensive investing experience, extraordinary healthcare industry insights, and a deep professional network built over more than two decades in private equity. Beyond his credentials, he shares our strong conviction in Orchard’s strategy that centers on collaboration, economic alignment, and a steadfast commitment to partnering with exceptional investors and executives. I have known Michael for 20 years, and could not be more excited to welcome him as a Co-Founder and Partner to accelerate our efforts in building Orchard into a market leader in one of the fastest growing segments of the private equity ecosystem.”

“I’m thrilled to join Orchard’s leadership team at such a pivotal time, as the rising adoption of continuation vehicles reshapes the private equity landscape,” said Farah. “Scott and Mark had tremendous vision in launching a truly differentiated strategy for investing in the secondary market, combining a diverse set of direct investing expertise with a collaborative and network-enabled approach, which thoughtfully positions Orchard to capitalize on an incredibly attractive market opportunity. I look forward to working closely with Scott, Mark and the broader team as we scale Orchard’s competitive advantages and market impact.”

Orchard’s expansion of its leadership team builds on a year of strong execution, during which the firm completed three investments. Each transaction reflected Orchard’s disciplined underwriting process and selective deployment of capital within its four sectors of focus, as well as an overall orientation towards the middle-market.
