First-time recognition reflects LP’s performance in business, innovation, workplace culture, and sustainability
LP Building Solutions (LP), a leading manufacturer of high-performance building products, has been named one of America’s Greatest Companies 2026 by Newsweek. In its first appearance on the annual list, LP earned a four-star rating in the Wholesale Building Materials category.
Newsweek’s America’s Greatest Companies ranking evaluates companies across four areas: financial leadership, innovation, workplace performance, and environmental sustainability. The assessment incorporates employee feedback together with company and third-party data, including filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
“We’re honored to be recognized by Newsweek in our first year on the list,” said LP CEO Jason Ringblom. “The factors considered in this ranking reflect areas where we’ve made deliberate investments over time, from innovation and sustainability to the development of our team. This recognition reflects the strong foundation we’ve built and our focus on creating long-term value.”
The accolade adds to a series of recent honors for LP, including being named a Sustainable Brand Leader by Green Builder Media for the fourth time, earning The Tennessean’s Top Workplaces of Middle Tennessee award for the fifth consecutive year, and receiving an LBM Journal Innovation Award for LP BurnGuard® Fire-Retardant-Treated (FRT) Oriented Strand Board (OSB). LP was also featured in USA Today’s America 250 documentary series, which highlighted the company’s role in advancing residential building materials and commercializing OSB.
