Naples, FL - A stray dog who dashed across the Naples Airport tarmac captured attention online has found a home with a local family connected to Cameron's Carpet & Tile Cleaning. Yvonne Worrel and her husband, Cameron Worrel, visited Collier County Domestic Animal Services after seeing the widely shared video and unexpectedly discovered that the dog they had watched running across the airport was there. The family adopted him and gave him a fitting new name: Jet.
The dog seen running on Naples Airport tarmac adopted by local family was initially spotted sprinting across airport grounds as workers followed in golf carts and other vehicles. Airport personnel safely captured the dog and transferred him to Collier County Domestic Animal Services. The Worrel family did not initially realize that the dog they encountered at the shelter was the same one from the airport video. After making the connection, they decided to bring Jet home.
The adoption adds a personal chapter to a family with longstanding ties to the Naples business community. Cameron's Carpet & Tile Cleaning is a family-owned and operated company that has served the area since 1967. The company provides Carpet & Tile Cleaning Naples, FL services for residential and commercial properties throughout Collier County, along with Estero and Bonita Springs in Lee County.
Cameron's Carpet & Tile Cleaning specializes in carpet cleaning, area rug cleaning, upholstery and furniture cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, commercial carpet cleaning, and commercial tile and grout cleaning. Its technicians are IICRC-certified, and the business is insured. Services address needs ranging from routine cleaning to ground-in dirt, stains, and pet odors. Specialty area rugs can also be dropped off at the company’s Enterprise Avenue location by appointment.
As a family business, Cameron's Carpet & Tile Cleaning follows an owner-involved service model. The owner prices each job by phone, photo, or in person, with costs discussed before they appear on an invoice. Customers also receive a call approximately 30 minutes before arrival. At the end of a service visit, the company conducts a walkthrough to identify any areas that may require additional attention.
Those practices reflect the same local and family-oriented character highlighted by Jet’s adoption. The dog’s journey from the Naples Airport tarmac to a local home began with a video shared online and continued through the work of airport personnel and Collier County Domestic Animal Services.
Cameron's Carpet & Tile Cleaning continues to serve Naples, Golden Gate, Marco Island, Bonita Springs, Estero, and surrounding areas.
