AMARA Subway has published a new catering guide for businesses, schools, churches, community organizations and event planners arranging group meals in Marietta and surrounding Cobb County communities.
The new Marietta catering guide explains available meal formats, advance-order requirements, pickup and delivery options, and how larger catering requests can be coordinated through the company’s two Marietta Subway restaurants.

The resource focuses on practical decisions organizers need to make before placing an order, including expected headcount, dietary needs, timing and whether individually packaged meals or shared platters better fit the event. It is designed to provide planning information for office lunches, meetings, training sessions, campus events and other group gatherings in the Marietta area.
“Group meal planning is easier when the organizer has the headcount, timing and serving format worked out before the order is placed,” said Alex Laldin, marketing director at AMARA Subway. “The goal of the guide is to put the practical ordering information in one place so businesses and organizations can plan ahead.”
According to AMARA Subway, individual box lunches include a sub, chips and a cookie, with each meal packaged separately. The format can work well for office meetings, training sessions, school functions and other events where individual portions are useful. Separate packaging can also make portions easier to organize for gatherings where dietary labeling or individual meal distribution is important. Box lunch catering requires a minimum order of 10 meals and at least 24 hours’ advance notice.
Individually packaged meals can provide a practical option for businesses where employees are eating during a meeting or training program and organizers want meals ready for distribution. They may also be suitable for events where attendees are seated in different areas or where a traditional self-service food station is not convenient.
Party platters provide a shared option for groups that prefer self-service. Each platter contains five footlong sandwiches cut into thirds, providing 15 portions. AMARA Subway states that a platter generally serves five to nine people depending on the group, appetite and other food being served.
Shared platters may be appropriate for team gatherings, social events and other occasions where attendees can select their own portions. Organizers can consider the expected number of guests and overall meal requirements when deciding how many platters will be needed.
The guide identifies several types of organizations and workplaces that may use catering services in the Marietta area. These include corporate offices, auto dealerships, healthcare and dental practices, construction and trade crews, schools, PTAs, churches, community organizations and groups located near Kennesaw State University. Common catering occasions include staff meetings, training events, job-site lunches, school functions and community gatherings.
The company operates two Subway restaurants in Marietta that can coordinate when an order requires more capacity than a single location can provide. Its Austell Road restaurant serves West Marietta and nearby communities, while the Hidden Forest Court location is near Kennesaw State University and serves campus-area businesses, organizations and events.
Having two Marietta locations also provides additional options when planning larger catering requests. Depending on the size and logistics of an order, the company can determine how preparation should be handled between the restaurants.
For larger box lunch orders, additional planning time may be needed. AMARA Subway recommends allowing 48 hours for orders of more than 50 boxes when possible. Organizers are encouraged to provide the final headcount, requested date and time, dietary information and pickup or delivery preference as early as possible. For standard catering requests, the company asks customers to provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
Providing those details in advance can help determine the appropriate meal format, number of meals and preparation requirements. It can also help the restaurant determine whether an order can be prepared by one location or whether coordination between the company’s Marietta restaurants is necessary.
Delivery is available for qualifying catering orders, while pickup is available through the company’s local restaurants. Smaller orders can be picked up from either Marietta location. Larger requests may be assigned to the nearest restaurant or divided between the two locations when additional coordination and preparation capacity are needed.
By outlining meal formats, order minimums, advance-notice recommendations and coordination between locations, the resource gives organizers a central reference for planning both smaller workplace meals and larger events.
AMARA Subway is a family-owned operator of six Subway restaurants across West and North Cobb County, including two Marietta locations. The company provides catering for workplace meals, schools, organizations, parties and other group events through its local restaurants, with options including individually packaged office lunches and shared party platters.
