Native landscaping and ecological restoration firm Eubanks Environmental has opened a new office in Grayslake, Illinois, serving Lake County and the North Shore.

Eubanks Environmental, the native landscaping and ecological restoration firm known for turning tired turf grass into thriving prairie, has finally put down roots of its own. As of August 1, 2026, the company operates from a new office at Graystone Suite 104, Graystone Manor, 34121 N. U.S. Route 45, Grayslake IL 60030.

For a company that spends its days restoring wetlands, running prescribed burns and convincing homeowners that a yard can be far more interesting than grass, a permanent home base was overdue. The Grayslake location places the firm at the center of the communities it serves across Lake County, including Libertyville, Lake Bluff, Lake Forest, Highland Park, Round Lake, Lake Villa, Green Oaks and Wadsworth.

"We have spent years helping other people improve their landscapes, so it was probably time we improved our own address," said David M. Eubanks, ecologist and owner of Eubanks Environmental. Having a dedicated office in Grayslake makes it easier for clients to find us, reach us and know exactly who they are working with.

Eubanks Environmental provides native landscape design and installation, prairie and wetland restoration, shoreline stabilization, invasive species control, prescribed burning and environmental consulting for residential, municipal and conservation clients. Eubanks serves as the appointed Environmental Manager for the Prairie Crossing conservation community in Grayslake and has led volunteer stewardship workdays across Lake County for more than three decades.
