Dr. Wittig's career began at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, where he worked as an orthopedic oncologist from 2001 to 2007. His career progressed as he joined Mount Sinai Medical Center in 2007, where he served as the chief of orthopedic oncology and sarcoma surgery until 2013. Before joining Atlantic Health, Dr. Wittig was vice chair of orthopedic surgery and chief of orthopedic oncology and sarcoma surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center (now Hackensack Meridian Health) from 2005 to 2018.
