Team Pro receives recurring airtime as ESPN begins its World Series of Poker broadcast schedule.

SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA / ACCESS Newswire / July 23, 2026 / Americas Cardroom Pro Alex Foxen was prominently featured in the opening episodes of ESPN's 2026 World Series of Poker Main Event coverage, which premiered July 21.

The first two episodes on ESPN2 recapped the tournament's opening flights and Day 2 action. Foxen appeared throughout the broadcasts as he built his chip stack, pressured opponents and navigated several significant decisions.

One featured hand showed Foxen facing an all-in decision against Vinh Nguyen. After considering Nguyen's table talk, Foxen made the correct call and secured another sizable pot.

The sequence highlighted the observation, composure and decision-making that have helped establish Foxen as one of his generation's most accomplished tournament poker players.

Foxen joined the Americas Cardroom Pro roster in May alongside Chance Kornuth and Chris Hunichen. He entered the WSOP Main Event following a big summer that included a victory in the $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold'em event.

That win earned Foxen $594,246 and the fourth WSOP bracelet of his career.

Team Pro Chris Moneymaker also represented Americas Cardroom during ESPN's opening episodes. Moneymaker's 2003 WSOP Main Event victory remains a defining chapter in ESPN's poker coverage and helped bring tournament poker to a mainstream television audience.

His rise from a low-buy-in online qualifier to world champion inspired a generation of players, while Foxen's featured appearances connected Americas Cardroom with the current era of elite tournament competition.

ESPN's multi-year agreement with the WSOP includes more than 100 hours of programming, Main Event episodes and three nights of live final-table coverage.

Additional Main Event episodes are scheduled to air on ESPN2. The final table will be broadcast August 3-5 across ESPN and ESPN2.
