Exowatt Launches ‘ExoRise’ to Deliver Turnkey Powered Land and Energy for the AI Era

New business arm combines powered land development with proprietary P3 technology to accelerate time-to-power for hyperscalers

Exowatt, a next-generation renewable energy company, today announced the launch of ExoRise, a new business arm delivering powered land and energy infrastructure for hyperscale data centers. ExoRise brings together land, power, and Exowatt’s P3, a proprietary dispatchable solar technology that stores energy as heat and converts it to electricity on demand, delivering reliable power day and night.

To meet surging AI power demand, ExoRise offers customers a single, turnkey alternative to years-long grid interconnection timelines by developing powered land projects in high-solar regions across the U.S. Southwest, including New Mexico, West Texas, Arizona, and Nevada. These areas provide abundant land and strong solar resources, enabling faster deployment with minimal impact on local communities.

“Hyperscalers should not have to piece together land, power, and infrastructure on their own,” said Hannan Happi, CEO of Exowatt. “ExoRise delivers everything together so customers can focus on compute while we handle the power.”

Unlike traditional data center development that strains urban and suburban grids, ExoRise supports behind-the-meter and off-grid deployment on remote land. This approach delivers large-scale power without burdening local ratepayers while supporting national priorities around energy resilience and domestic AI growth.

Nic Bustamante, Chief Data Center Officer, will lead partnerships with hyperscaler off-takers and infrastructure financiers. The business model is focused on delivering scalable, dependable power solutions that accelerate time-to-market for AI capacity.

“The growth of AI is colliding with real limits on grid capacity,” said Bustamante. “ExoRise is designed to solve that problem by delivering dependable power at the speed AI requires. We’re not just solving a business problem–we’re enabling the future of American AI leadership.”

ExoRise is differentiated by its integration of Exowatt’s proprietary P3 technology into every project. By controlling both the energy system and the development process, Exowatt enables faster delivery and more predictable outcomes than traditional powered land strategies.

Exowatt expects its first ExoRise pilot project to be operational by the end of 2026. This project will serve as a launchpad for the company’s 90+ GWh backlog of signed customer demand.

ExoRise was formally unveiled at the PTC Conference, where Exowatt leaders shared the vision and strategic partnership opportunities.
