Senior counsel strengthens firm’s litigation bench amid a vibrant Dallas legal market

The national commercial litigation and discovery counsel law firm Hilgers PLLC has added Dallas litigation senior counsel Leanne Thoreson, launching the firm’s Labor & Employment practice.

Ms. Thoreson brings extensive experience in employment law, supporting companies and individuals both pre-litigation and in litigation involving questions of discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge, federal and state wage and hour laws, FMLA, breach of contract, and misappropriation of trade secrets. She also represents clients in administrative proceedings filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and related state agencies. Further, she assists in the development of policies and procedures designed to protect employers from potential litigation and ensure compliance with diverse state and local employment laws.

Ms. Thoreson joins Hilgers PLLC as senior counsel from Bradley Arant Boult Cummings. She also previously served as in-house counsel for TRT Holdings.
