The next breakout company in the plant-based nutrition market, though, may not be a company producing an alternative meat or milk product.

In addition to its global retail dominance and philanthropic offerings, WalMart is also securing major partnerships with companies at the forefront of the plant-based movement. Especially Beyond Meat, adding even more products to its arsenal in 2020.
