BOULDER, Colo., Sept. 01, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Matrix Wildfire is conducting its first-ever online surplus auction on GovDeals, the leading online marketplace for government agencies and commercial organizations to sell surplus equipment and specialty assets. The auction features a highly specialized DICOSY Turbo Hydro Jet 40000 industrial fire suppression truck; a unique emergency response vehicle originally developed for large-scale industrial firefighting and hazard-control operations.

Currently available for bidding, the DICOSY Turbo Hydro Jet 40000 combines a Pratt & Whitney JT8D turbojet engine with advanced water-spray technology designed to support firefighting, infrastructure cooling, vapor suppression and hazardous materials response. The vehicle is built on a military-spec 6x6 truck chassis and includes a 2,000-gallon water tank, 600-gallon jet fuel tank and 300-gallon additive tank.

Originally manufactured in 2001 and formerly used by the U.S. Marine Corps, the vehicle was engineered for demanding industrial and emergency response environments. Its high-output system can project a fine aerosolized water spray across large areas, making it suitable for applications ranging from petrochemical fires and refinery incidents to hazardous vapor suppression and critical infrastructure protection. Bidding for this auction will remain open until September 8.

“This auction marks an exciting milestone for Matrix Wildfire as we bring our first surplus asset to the online marketplace,” said Patric Douglas, CEO of Matrix Wildfire. “The DICOSY Turbo Hydro Jet is a remarkable and highly specialized piece of equipment with capabilities rarely seen in the public market. By partnering with GovDeals, we can reach a broad audience of qualified buyers and ensure a transparent, competitive sale process.”

Interested buyers can view photos, specifications and bidding information on the GovDeals auction page. The asset is offered as-is, where-is, and the buyer will be responsible for transportation and removal arrangements. Bidders must create a free GovDeals account to participate.
