This is the third book Meza has authored. The book was meticulously crafted, not only in terms of storytelling but also in the arrangement of the narratives. It alternates between those with a sense of humor and those that ground the reader, leading them to contemplate the fragility of life and the role that God plays in their life. There's a particular excitement about this launch because this book has been seven years in the making. Audiences and health care workers alike have been waiting for the release because of all the inspirational supernatural stories, including Near-Death Experiences (NDE's).
Raul Meza has a background in Critical Care nursing and has well over 30 years worth of experience in his field. He is also an international speaker, having spoken at health care conferences, Christian conferences as well as entrepreneur conferences all over the world. This helped shape the creation of the book. With a long nursing care history, Raul has been exposed to many intense, emotional and even supernatural experiences while working bedside as a critical care nurse.
When asked about why he wrote the book, Meza said: ""In this book, you will find inspiring stories that will remind you of God's unconditional love, make you realize the importance of intimate moments with your loved ones, or simply demonstrate that the power of God is real." No matter how fierce the storm, God will be there at the right moment," emphasizes Raúl."
Meza has hopes that the book will inject a good dose of faith into the reader's life, helping them find light in the middle of their current storm. This positive outlook from the author is certainly testament to his optimism considering some of the mishaps during its creation. At one point the book was finally completed and was being translated into Spanish. That is when the world came to a stop as it faced the Covid pandemic. Raul had to pull himself away from working on the book so that he could take his place on the front lines to battle the life-taking pandemic. It wasn't until 2023 that Raul was able to revisit the translation and launch of this book.
In a recent interview, the author made a point of thanking his wife, Betty Meza, for her part in the creation of the book, saying: "It was an emotional book to write. If it wasn't from my wife, Betty, I don't think it would have been written with such completeness and purpose. She was also the driving force behind the translation into Spanish."
