This is a critical skill for crews traveling to emergency calls in the middle of the night or during a storm. Drivers operating larger vehicles and loaded trailers also received guidance specific to those situations, including the increased stopping distances and rollover risks that come with a higher center of gravity.

Safety Day at G.W. Savage extended beyond the road. The event also covered other safety topics, such as PPE use, jobsite hazards, and lifting techniques, reinforcing the company's broader commitment to a safe work environment for every employee, on every job.
