The event hosted by Kenya Education Fund in collaboration with Daughters of Destiny Foundation was moderated by Esther Amunga a non-profit Visionaire.
The event brough together students, mentors, partners, and community leaders from US and Africa for a powerful and inspiring event dedicated to empowering young women through education, leadership, and opportunity. An engaging lineup of speakers and panelists, including Mumbi Kahindo, Dr Faith Wambura Ngunjiri, Lucy Ayodo, Teresa Wasonga, Tabby Mbeky, Chris Savatia, Dom Muasya - Executive Director of KKEF and Sophia Rowe - Executive Director of Daughter of Destiny Foundations, shared personal stories, professional insights, and guidance on building confidence, pursuing education, and navigating future careers.
The Seminar explored the transformative power of girls’ education as a driver of economic growth, healthier communities, and stronger leadership across generations. Through inspiring presentations, moderated discussions, and powerful personal testimonies, speakers highlighted how educating girls increases lifetime earnings, strengthens families, and fuels broader economic development while also improving health outcomes and community wellbeing.
