The resort was unaffected by fire activity and looks forward to welcoming guests once again, thanks to the tireless efforts of thousands of firefighters, first responders, and local strike teams who continue to fight the fires near Big Sur. To welcome guests back to the resort, Alila Ventana Big Sur has also introduced a new, curated luxury experience package, called "The World, Together," designed to celebrate connection through private coastal journeys, fine dining, and bespoke resort amenities, available for stays booked by September 30 and valid through December 31, 2026.

Highway 1 through Big Sur remains open from the north through Mile Marker 16, just south of Lucia, with a road closure still in effect beyond that point. Travelers should continue to exercise caution and remain mindful of ongoing emergency response activity, equipment and public safety personnel in the area. Follow all posted signs and directions, and check current road conditions before traveling. Highway 101 remains an alternative route for travelers traveling to and from the Monterey Peninsula.
