Black discussed the surging demand for tungsten concentrate, a scarce metal that is used in a wide range of sectors. “The price of tungsten is higher in China than the West, which in all the years I’ve done this, I’ve never seen happen before and it wasn’t just a one off, it's been like this for seven months,” Black told Benzinga during the interview.

Black said the demand is being driven by the defense industry, semiconductor companies and with interest rates now dropping, the car sector. While the supply/demand situation may seem “chaotic” for those looking in from the outside, the CEO said the situation is "fantastic" for Almonty.
