AM Best’s 2024 Student Challenge Open for Submissions

Submissions are now being accepted for AM Best's 2024 Student Challenge.

Now in its fourth year, the competition empowers undergraduate and graduate students to think beyond the classroom by developing innovative solutions for managing insurance risks.

This can include new products, distribution methods, creative ways to increase insurance penetration, incentive programs, digitization models, implementation of private/public partnerships or alternative risk transfer. AM Best is also offering several starter topics, with accompanying data.

Students must submit their initial abstracts, with a maximum of 750 words, by Nov. 20, 2023.

The field will be narrowed to three finalists from separate academic institutions, each of whom will receive:

  • An interview with AM Best TV;
  • A feature article in Best’s Review magazine;
  • Recognition on select AM Best social media channels; and
  • An academic medal and trophy.

The winner will be announced in the spring of 2024.
