The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Florida Memorial University (“FMU”) with respect to their recent data breach. On March 9, 2024, FMU became aware of an unauthorized cybersecurity incident on their network. FMU immediately launched an investigation into the incident. The investigation concluded that an unauthorized party may have accessed certain individuals’ sensitive information on FMU’s network. On July 29, 2024, FMU began sending out notices to potentially impacted individuals.
