The leader in metabolic health grows to nine open clinics outside California’s 31 clinics as demand for provider-led GLP-1 and metabolic care rises

Lindora, the leader in medical weight loss with a 55-year legacy, today announced the continued growth of its national footprint with new clinics in Superior, Colorado; Franklin, Tennessee; Waxhaw, North Carolina; and Scottsdale, Arizona, all opened this summer. The openings bring Lindora to 40 open locations nationwide, with two additional locations in development in Bountiful, Utah, and Powell, Ohio.

Founded in Southern California in 1971, Lindora has helped millions of people lose weight and improve their metabolic health across more than five decades. Today, the brand has evolved from a pioneering weight loss clinic into a metabolic health model built on blood testing, muscle preservation, and provider-led GLP-1 care, and is bringing that model to communities nationwide.

The expansion comes as more Americans seek medical support for weight and metabolic health. Interest in GLP-1 medications has surged, but patients struggle to find programs that personalize prescriptions with the testing, nutrition guidance, accessible exercise, and ongoing clinical oversight needed for lasting results. Lindora's model is built around that full picture of care.

"Weight is rarely just about willpower. It's about metabolism, hormones and how the body responds to what we give it," said JJ Virgin, Chief Metabolic Health Officer of Lindora. "Fifty-five years in, we're bringing this innovative model into communities that want to take a proactive approach to their health."

New to Lindora is EMS (electro muscle stimulation) resistance training, which uses FDA-cleared technology and a specialized suit to activate up to 90% of muscle fibers in a groundbreaking 20-minute, low-impact session to retain and build muscle. The addition closes the biggest gap in medical weight loss today: as GLP-1 medications reshape how Americans lose weight, research shows that without resistance training, a significant share of the weight patients lose can be muscle rather than fat. By pairing provider-led GLP-1 care with in-clinic strength training, high-protein nutrition and body composition tracking, Lindora helps patients lose fat while protecting the muscle that drives metabolism, energy and healthy aging, all under one roof.

Each new clinic offers Lindora's core services, including metabolic biomarker testing and body composition analysis, medically supervised GLP-1 therapy, hormone replacement therapy, peptide therapy, EMS resistance training, IV therapy, NAD+, and nutrition coaching. Patients work with licensed medical providers to build individualized plans, with regular check-ins to track progress and adjust care.

Select Lindora clinics also offer Zerona, a non-invasive, FDA-cleared low-level laser therapy that helps reduce circumference in areas such as the waist, hips and thighs. With no downtime, Zerona gives patients a way to refine their results as they lose weight and build muscle.

"Metabolic health is the foundation of how we feel and how we age," said Virgin. "When patients have real data on how their bodies are working and a team to guide them, they can make changes that last well beyond the scale."

The new locations are owned and operated by local entrepreneurs, reflecting Lindora's strategy to grow alongside operators rooted in the communities they serve.

Lindora also celebrated the 55-year anniversary at home in Southern California with the grand reopening this summer of its flagship Newport Beach clinic at 270 Bristol St., Suite 108, debuting EMS training and additional new services for the community.
