How the New Controls Work

Each control can be applied independently to any chat room within a Brosix private network. Read Only prevents general participants from posting, turning any room into a one-way broadcast channel. Publishers designates specific users permitted to send messages in a Read Only room. Hide Members conceals the participant list, enabling anonymous group communication. Moderators grants selected users the ability to delete messages sent by others.

The controls can be combined to create a range of communication environments — from private broadcast channels for announcements and client newsletters, to moderated community spaces with full oversight.
