Sixteen builders committed, model homes rising and first amenity center under construction as the 770-acre community takes shape

Just months after Hunt Communities broke ground at Verdancia, its newest master-planned community, the development is already taking shape. With a strong lineup of builders on board, model homes rising, infrastructure complete, and construction underway on the community's first amenity center, Verdancia is quickly becoming the vibrant, connected community Hunt Communities envisioned.

Spanning 770 acres, Verdancia will feature approximately 2,400 single-family home lots, up to 400 apartment units, and 101 acres reserved for commercial use, a mix designed to bring together housing, business, and community life in one of West Texas's fastest-growing areas.

Sixteen builders are now building in Verdancia: BIC Homes, Castlewood Homes, Classic American Homes, Cullers Homes, Edwards Homes, EGL Homes, Hakes Brothers, ICON Custom Home Builder, LEH Homes, Millennial Homes, MRG Homes, Palo Verde Homes, Pointe Homes, Reva Living, and Savannah A Homes, and View Homes. Four model homes are already complete, with a fifth under construction. The remaining builders are finalizing plans and construction financing, with all model homes expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Infrastructure, including roads, utilities, and sidewalks, is fully in place across the community, clearing the way for the wave of vertical construction now underway. Parks and trails are also under construction, advancing Verdancia's commitment to green space and connectivity.

Residents will soon have access to The Veranda, Verdancia's first amenity center, which is under construction and slated for completion in early 2027. The Veranda will offer a pool, gym, tennis court, and pickleball courts. A second amenity center is planned for a future phase. Both amenity centers will be open to all Verdancia residents, regardless of which part of the community they call home. Verdancia is served by the Clint Independent School District (Clint ISD). Horizon High School, which serves the area, earned an "A" rating and five TEA Distinction Designations, reflecting the campus’s strong academic track record.

Horizon City's appeal continues to grow alongside Verdancia. In addition to the Hospitals of Providence's 40,000 square foot medical campus and Wal-Mart, residents now benefit from a newly announced Albertsons and additional new shops in the area, further expanding the retail and dining options available just minutes from home.
