Recently, Jinggong Steel International, a subsidiary of Jinggong Steel Building Group, has won the bid for the main steel structure works above the 120th floor of Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia. This means Jinggong has fully undertaken the supply and erection of the entire main steel structure of the Tower.
Located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Jeddah Tower is one of the most representative landmark projects under Saudi Vision 2030 with a designed height of 1008 meters. Construction started in 2013, but was suspended later due to geopolitical factors and the global pandemic in 2018.
For the next seven years after 2018, Jinggong Steel International had been dedicated to its technology development and strategic adjustment in the Middle East. Finally, good news came that the project was officially restarted in early 2025.

Currently, more than 100 floors have been completed, and the height of the main building has exceeded 400m. This project is expected to be completed in 2028. At that time, Jeddah Tower will replace the 828-meter-high Burj Khalifa and become the first 1000-meter-class landmark building in the world.

In 2026 this year, Jinggong Steel Building Group puts forward the international business strategy of“Overseas Breakthrough”. That is, seizing the important overseas market opportunities to strengthen Jinggong’s competitiveness in the new market.
This time, successfully undertaking the entire main steel structure meets the initiatives of“the Belt and Road” and “Saudi Vision 2030”. Furthermore, it not only deepens the partnership between Jinggong Steel International and SBG, with whom we have cooperated successfully many times before, but also, it is a practice for the Group’s strategy of “Overseas Breakthrough”. Jinggong Steel International will spare no effort to ensure this project, realizing this historic building achievement.
