SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA / ACCESS Newswire / April 20, 2026 / Americas Cardroom announced one of its largest single-day tournament performances to date, highlighted by the completion of its highest buy-in online poker event and continued growth across its High Five and Dual Mystery Bounty Venom series.
The $25,000 + $500 "Phil's Puff & Bluff" tournament, part of the newly introduced Highest Five series, drew 53 entrants and generated a $1,325,000 prize pool. The event concluded with AlwaysWithNuts winning $371,000, followed by OutFoxenYou ($265,000) and Iauspicious ($212,000).

"We wanted to create something that truly pushed the limits of what online tournament poker could look like," said Phil Nagy, CEO of Americas Cardroom. "The response to the Highest Five-and especially the $25K-shows there's a real appetite for nosebleed action. At the same time, what makes this special is that we're delivering that energy across every stake level. Whether you're firing your first bullet or playing for six figures, this is the kind of schedule players get excited about."
The platform also reported strong participation in its Dual Mystery Bounty Venom tournaments. Day 1C of the $8 Million GTD NLH event recorded 779 entries, contributing $2,064,350 to the prize pool, with 94 players advancing to Day 2. The Highest Five series features two high-stakes tournaments daily, with buy-ins ranging from $5,200 to $25,500, running alongside the High Five schedule of 10 daily events.
