ASU Vice President Elected to the Arizona Technology Council Board of Directors

Council Adds Critical Expertise in Education, Partnerships and Health Care at its July 2023 Board Meeting

PHOENIX - July 28, 2023 - PRLog -- The Arizona Technology Council today announced it has appointed Grace O'Sullivan, vice president of corporate engagement and partnerships at Arizona State University, to its board of directors. O'Sullivan was elected unanimously to serve a three-year term at the Council's quarterly board meeting on July 27, 2023.

"With Grace's large portfolio of successful partnerships between ASU and the private sector, she is a great addition to the board and brings key expertise in higher education," said Steven G. Zylstra, the Council's president and CEO. "We are proud to welcome her to the board and look forward to her assistance as we continue our mission to further develop the state's workforce and grow our innovation economy."

The board of directors serves an advisory and fiduciary role by representing the interests of the state's technology sectors in the Council's strategic planning and ongoing operations. The current board consists of 34 members representing a diverse set of organizations, including American Express, PayPal, Raytheon and several other top technology companies.

Grace O'Sullivan, VP of corporate engagement and partnerships, ASU

O'Sullivan brings more than a decade of expertise in higher education and creating impactful public-private partnerships. Her efforts have led to efficient and win-win collaborations between the private sector and ASU, recognized as the most innovative school in the country by U.S. News & World Report. O'Sullivan's team also advances a portfolio of strategic health partnerships, including ASU's flagship partners Mayo Clinic, Dignity Health and Phoenix Children's Hospital.

She is a board member of the Partnership for Economic Innovation, a nonprofit whose mission is to transform Greater Phoenix into a top global market for innovation that is fueled by world-class research centers, advanced industries and creative entrepreneurs. O'Sullivan also serves on the board of Terros Health, a nonprofit, integrated care provider with specialization in medical care, wellness interventions, trauma-informed mental health and addiction recovery. She earned her B.S. and MBA from Arizona State University and is also a certified research administrator.
