Teens in AI enables young people across the UK to complete the Skills section of their DofE Award through trusted, high-quality AI education programmes.

LONDON - Feb. 17, 2026 - PRLog -- Approved Activity Provider for the Skills section of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE). Teens in AI's AI Adventures online, self-paced courses are designed for young people aged 14–24 and can now count towards a young person's Bronze, Silver, or Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

Teens in AI's AI Adventures online, self-paced courses give young people of all backgrounds the chance to develop practical skills in AI and digital innovation. Participants build technical understanding alongside critical thinking, problem-solving, ethical awareness, and confidence in using technology responsibly. Their mission is to prepare young people for an AI-enabled future by providing accessible education that supports personal development, broadens career aspirations, and allows them to gain recognised accreditation as part of their Bronze, Silver, and Gold DofE Awards.

To do their DofE, young people choose activities in four sections: improving a Physical and Skills activity, Volunteering for a cause of their choice, and completing a demanding Expedition. Along the way they have fun, grow in resilience and self-belief, discover new talents and passions, and learn practical skills to help them in future – while working towards a highly respected Award.

Sophie Keaveney, Senior Operations Manager, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, said: "We are delighted that Teens in AI is now an Approved Activity Provider for The Duke of Edinburgh's Award, opening the door to more fantastic opportunities for young people to gain new skills that set them up for the future. We know that many of our DofE participants are passionate about technology and digital innovation and it's brilliant that they will have the chance to follow this passion through their DofE Award."

Elena Sinel, Founder and CEO of Teens in AI, added: "Being an Approved Activity Provider by The DofE is a significant milestone for Teens in AI. It recognises the quality, safety and impact of our programmes, and reinforces the trust placed in us to support young people's development. This approval enables more young people to gain essential AI and technology skills while working towards a respected Award, helping them build confidence, broaden their ambitions and prepare for the opportunities of the future."

The DofE charity is working to reach 1million young people by the end of 2026, launching ambitious projects to fund schools/community organisations in UK's most deprived areas to start offering the DofE.
