Foundation For Optimal Beginnings announces Family Matters Mega Summit, broadcast LIVE from Yerevan, Armenia, 8 am-6 pm PST on May 13; Dozens of Speakers, Youth Presenters, & Field Report. Admission is open to Public; Parents, grandparents, Educators, Non-Profit Organizations, and Support Communities are all welcome

-- The fifth annual Family Matters Mega Summit will be held on May 13, 2026, to coincide with the United Nations International Day of Families. This year’s virtual event, broadcast live from Yerevan, Armenia, will feature dozens of global experts and youth leaders who will focus on the current conflict in West Asia and its long-term effects on family structures worldwide.
The summit, which runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. PDT, serves as a global platform for parents, educators, and community leaders. Discussions will span a wide array of topics, including health, relationships, education, family finance, and child development, with a specific lens on maintaining community stability during geopolitical unrest.
"Supporting families locally can eradicate poverty, oppression, and violence globally within one generation," said Dr. Ali Lankerani, founder of Foundation for Optimal Beginnings Nonprofit and the summit’s primary organizer.
This year’s speaker lineup includes prominent family advocates Raymond Comeau, Patrice Porter, Mindy Green, Raja Vaidya, Kristina Heagh-Avritt, and Keynote Speaker Dr. Hoda Hosseini. A centerpiece of the event will be a field report by Dr. Lankerani on the status of displaced refugee families in West Asia, followed by constructive dialogue on solutions.
Over its five-year history, the Mega Summit has established a track record of addressing timely humanitarian issues. Previous summits have raised funds for Ukrainian families through UNICEF, highlighted female leadership in the Middle East, and raised awareness on the effects of deglobalization on food security and sustainability.
The 2026 event is open to the public, including parents, grandparents, and nonprofit organizations. Admission is free, though 100% of donations collected during the broadcast will benefit the Foundation for Optimal Beginnings, a nonprofit dedicated to human potential and generational opportunity.
