Caddo Sustainable Timberlands, LP (“Caddo”), the largest private timberland owner in Texas, is pleased to announce the appointment of Peyton Weeks as President. Peyton brings more than 25 years of experience in timberland management, forest operations and wood products manufacturing across Texas and Louisiana.

Peyton joins Caddo from Weyerhaeuser, where he has held a variety of leadership roles since 2002, including oversight of nearly 500,000 acres across East Texas and west central Louisiana and management of the company’s Engineered Wood Products facility in Natchitoches, Louisiana.

“Peyton brings a strong combination of forestry experience, operational leadership and knowledge of the markets and communities where Caddo operates,” said John Lock, Interim President of Caddo. “His experience across Texas and Louisiana makes him an excellent fit to lead Caddo into its next phase.”

As President, Peyton will oversee Caddo operations and lead the company’s continued focus on sustainable forest management, operational excellence and long-term value creation across Caddo’s approximately 903,000 acres of timberland located in Texas and Louisiana.
