99% of RTA Fleet employees say the company is a great place to work, validating RTA Fleet’s commitment to building an Intentional Culture

RTA: The Fleet Success Company, a fleet management software and consulting company serving public-sector and enterprise fleets, has been named No. 34 on the Fortune Best Small Workplaces™ 2026 list, produced by Great Place To Work®. RTA climbed from No. 83 on the list in 2023.

For RTA Fleet CEO Josh Turley, the recognition is validation of something the company has worked deliberately to build.

“Culture happens whether you’re intentional about it or not,” Turley said. “We decided a long time ago that we weren’t going to leave ours to chance. We want RTA Fleet to be a place where great people can do meaningful work, care about the people around them, and know that what they do matters.”

RTA Fleet has long championed Intentional Culture as one of the foundational principles of Fleet Success. The idea is that great cultures don’t happen by accident. Leaders must decide what kind of environment they want to create and then reinforce it through their values, hiring, leadership, accountability, and everyday decisions.

It’s a principle RTA Fleet encourages fleet leaders to embrace, and one the company works to practice internally.

RTA Feet’s Great Place To Work survey results include:

  • 99% of employees say RTA is a great place to work.
  • 100% say management is honest and ethical.
  • 100% say people care about each other.
  • 100% say new employees are made to feel welcome.

“Values are easy to put on a wall,” Turley said. “They’re much harder to build into how you hire, lead, make decisions, and hold each other accountable. We want people to experience our values, not just be able to recite them.”

For RTA Fleet, culture also connects directly to its purpose: helping fleets succeed. The company serves fleet professionals responsible for vehicles and equipment that transport students, support first responders, maintain infrastructure, and provide other essential community services. RTA Fleet believes a healthy, mission-driven team is better equipped to serve the people carrying those responsibilities.

The Fortune Best Small Workplaces™ rankings are based on confidential employee feedback collected through Great Place To Work’s Trust Index™ Survey. More than 30,000 responses from employees at eligible companies contributed to the 2026 rankings.
